"Bizen porcelain is an experiment project that Kazuya has been working on since 2020, using natural porcelain clay mined at the Tsuchibashi Mine in the Mitsuishi area of ​​Bizen City.

Bizen Pottery is classified as stoneware and is made mainly from fine-textured rice field clay. Bizen Porcelain is made from a mineral called china stone, which was formed 30 million years ago and is usually crushed by dynamite to make porcelain.

Ishida would like to utilize the experience he has cultivated in Bizen and incorporate it into his work while exploring new possibilities of ""stone flavor,"" which can be expressed only with Bizen porcelain, rather than the earthy flavor characteristic of Bizen ware."
