This workshop will bring students to the next level in nude figure drawing with life models. Artist Henry Yan will guide them through step-by-step demonstrations in creating an expressive piece of figure drawing, from understanding the anatomy and proportions of the human body to mastering the techniques of using different dry media. Students will draw from life models to maximize their learning.
As an experienced full-time instructor, Henry Yan has been teaching figure drawing and painting at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, USA, giving classes to students of all levels from beginning to advanced.
In about three decades of teaching history for the university, art schools, and workshops worldwide, Henry has had successful students becoming art instructors, art industry professionals, and famous master level artists. He is also the mentor of our dearest @OliverSinfor the past 15 years! His drawings and paintings have been collected world wide since the 1990s.
His book, “Henry Yan’s Figure Drawing – Techniques and Tips” Published in 2006, has been recommended and used as text book by instructors and students of art schools in and out of the US.
