In this 2-day workshop, you will explore the world of expressive portrait painting with the guidance of Zin Lim. Students will learn the techniques of painting portraits in the ‘alla prima’ approach, with unpredictable textures and vibrant colour blends created by expressive brush strokes. This immersive workshop is tailored for artists of all levels seeking to master the captivating art of creating loose and expressive portraits with a distinctive personal touch.

Zin Lim is an artist focusing on drawing and painting of the human figure, he is also an art educator and influencer. Zin was an instructor at the Graduate School of Fine Art/Illustration at the Academy of Art University from 2006 to 2017. After that he extended to teaching workshops in various cities worldwide. Zin is also a video content creator, producing video lectures on YouTube.
